Hello! Travelers, Namaste! Bonjour!

I am super excited to share with you my recent amazing experience of India during a trip to Agra, Mathura & Vrindavan from Delhi and there is all the information in this blog which any traveler needs to know about these places and also I have shared my experience of this trip. This trip is really close to my heart and I am not at all in doubt to visit these places again. As today I am sharing the unforgettable event of Agra Mathura Vrindavan Tour from Delhi that had. This post will help you plan your Agra tour better, as you will come to know after completely reading this, what one can expect from the tour.

Without any further ado, Let?s begin.

How Agra trip was planned-

I have visited many cities around the globe in my life that includes sightseeings like hills, beaches, monuments, deserts, etc. However, one of the most important sight, the visit to Taj Mahal has evaded me all this time. And I was very excited to change all of this in the upcoming trip to Taj Mahal. Me and my wife were checking the list of places, where we should plan our Holidays. And during our research, we came across the Holi Festival which is celebrated around the beginning of March. Then, we read about this festival and we found it really exciting. Then we immediately decided to join this festival and we found the best place to celebrate this festival is Mathura and Vrindavan.

On their checklist, there were two things ?

a Delhi Darshan Tour and,

trip to Agra, Mathura & Vrindavan.

After that I have no idea how we can reach both cities then I went online and searched for a trip planner company and I found PADMA HOLIDAYS, their reviews were all good and some videos as well they plan the tours during Holi festival and we were really impressed by that. Padma Holidays planned our trip at affordable prices.

How Our Trip Unfolded

The Trip to Agra Began 06:00 AM: we were greeted by Padma Holidays representative in Delhi. The driver came to pick us from our location in perfectly Air-conditioned personal Sedan Car to enjoy our 3 hours drive to Agra via Yamuna expressway.

Breakfast Time

We could hear our stomach growling out of hunger.

At 7 am we took a halt at a nice restaurant on the highway. The driver escorted us to the restaurant.

It was well maintained a nice ambience!

We could smell a mix of flavourful aroma as we entered the restaurant.

Dosa, Idli, Sambar, Noodles, Burgers, Chips, Beverages?you name it and they had it.

We ordered Dosa and a nice coffee. Wow! It was simply yummy!

The Grand Entrance to Majestic Tajmahal! ( The Taj ) We hit Agra before time, thanks to no traffic and yes the Car driver, Boby Lawania drove professionally. ?I have got your *entry tickets & socks to Taj Mahal?, the Guide announced. We collected our entry tickets and were soon joined by a local guide ? Subhash Sharma . We went pass the security gates and after walking 100 yards or so we could see the huge, magnanimous gates leading to the Taj Mahal. *The best part about this tour was the pro-active planning ? tickets to the monuments and other things could be arranged on the payable basis in advance. Padma Holidays arranged entry Tickets for Taj Mahal & Agra Fort beforehand.

LOVE MONUMENT " Wah Taj "

At last, the moment we had been deeply longing for was only a few steps away. As we entered through the grand entrance gates, we could not believe our eyes. No wonder, Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world! It is the most beautiful monument ever created by mankind. ?This exquisite marble structure is a mausoleum built by the Mughal emperor Shahjahan in the loving memory of his wife ? Mumtaz begum!?, Our Guide Uttered. Our Guide continued, ?Did you know Shahjahan?s original name was ?Khurram? a name with Persian origin, meaning happiness?. He did excellent guiding, very knowledgeable, courteous and entertaining. After 2 hours of morning sightseeing, it was time to bid-adeau to Taj Mahal, and head to our next destination.

Agra Fort the Epitome Symbol of Mughal Era

It?s time to move on to our next destination ? Agra Fort. By this time it was getting little hot, thanks to the umbrella offered by the operator ? it came really handy. Again, our guide Subhash escorted us to Agra Fort and gave in-depth storytelling of the Agra Fort. As we stepped into the grand gates of the fort, it surely felt like as we were teleported to the Mughal Era. There is so much to see inside, besides the Fort, Diwan-e-aam, Akbar?s Mahal, Jahangir's Hauz, and lots more. The view of Taj Mahal from Agra Fort was simply spectacular. After one hour of guided tour, it was time to board the car and move to our next destination ? Mathura.

We checked-into the hotel and took rest and prepared our self for the late-night Holi Fire celebration, our guide came back to take us for the celebration as it was all decided. Then, he took us to the nearest celebration point. As we were coming into the city, we saw some woods being collected and arrangements for the Music being made. So we had some ideas about it.

We went to the nearest point, few female members of the families were worshiping the woods and after some time the celebration started. It was beyond our expectation we never felt left out and everyone was coming to us and greeting us at the Festival. Later we Danced and enjoyed some drinks. People already started throwing colors at each other. Our guide told that this is just the trailer and we will see the more colourfull celebration tomorrow. And we were excited about it, after our whole new today's experience.

Finally, its the day of the celebration.

After breakfast, we left for Vrindavan city. We have read about it a lot and it is considered to be the best place to experience this festival. We reached there at 10 Am.

n Vrindavan and Mathura, as per our itinerary, we were taken to various temples and celebration points of the city like Iskon Temple, Baikai Bihari, Prem Mandir, etc. As we all know this festival is celebrated by throwing colors and greeting each other. It will be all colored, Musical and positive vibes around us. We were given enough time to get ourselves dissolved in this festival and this experience has given us memories for a lifetime. All of this will take approx 4 hours. Don't forget to take plenty of colorful photos. Our guide was always there with us and made sure that we always stay safe. The stories which he narrated truely helped us get completely dissolved with the festival. Since we are little photogenic, we took lots of photos and the pictures were very colourful and they are close to our hearts. After celebrating the festival for 4 Hrs in Vrindavan City (And we never felt that we have spent 4 hours there).

Now, it was the time to leave the city with a heavy heart and we really found it difficult to leave this place, it was such an amazing experience for us. If we have to sum up our experience, we strongly recommend visiting this place during this festival. You will get a chance to experience a whole new thing which you can not have any other part in the world. Padma Holidays is the best, which I found on the internet. We experienced the same. We were never asked to pay anywhere else during the trip. They arranged everything for us at a fair price (Highly recommended). In the evening we were driven back to the hotel in New Delhi, which will take approx 2 Hrs. This ends your wonderful trip to Taj and Vrindavan during the best time of the year.
